I'm a Brooklyn-based science writer and editor specializing in explaining awesome (but complicated) things so that everyone can understand them. I'm particularly enraptured by space and strange ocean creatures — don't even get me started on barnacles — but I've covered a little bit of everything, science-wise.
I'm currently an associate editor at Scholastic Science World, a classroom magazine for 6th-10th grade students. I've also written for older audiences in Discover, Popular Science, OnEarth and more. I graduated from NYU's master's program in Science, Health and Environmental Reporting.
